Abstract

This article presents an ethnographic case in which it explores how peace, an expression of human relationships, and which in fact finds support in international agendas for peacebuilding and transitional justice, can also be used as an analytical and conceptual category to observe how other more than human relationships are woven. Thus, it uses the scenario of a scientific expedition that left for Sumpaz to carry out biological inventories in a military battalion, to explain how ideas of peace impact relations between non-humans, techno-scientific knowledge, and military practices.
